Just before I woke up from the dream the dark horse appeared.
His face was huge in front of me, many times the size of an actual horse. I have never felt such immense power.
Words do not do the feeling justice as the sense of peace and love I felt radiating from this being was indescribable and shocked me awake.
At that time in my life I was going through a spiritual crisis and awakening of sorts. I remember I was reading Entering the Castle by Carolyn Myss, a guide to the journey of the centre of your soul based on the writings of Saint Teresa of Avila.
I had been questioning many things and was feeling quite alone during this time.
I felt that the dream came to me as reassurance that I wasn’t alone and to keep going.
If our desire to lead a soul led life is strong then we will find a way.
People, opportunities, synchronicities, messages, dreams will appear in ways that shatter our current illusions.
A whole new world and way of living is open and available to us if we choose.
My desire for everyone is that they feel led by their soul; that their soul comes first.
When we know we're not living life connected to our essence it can feel deeply painful.
Usually this pain becomes the catalyst for the desire to experience more depth, connection, meaning and growth.
Like a wild horse, our souls remind us that ultimately we cannot be tamed or broken.
Our souls are our insurance policy for freedom.
Paradoxically, we need to give up control and surrender to being led.
Where are our souls leading us that might not make logical sense?
Remember our soul knows the way.
